Job Description:
Engineering Manager LoneStar Marine Shelters is a custom fabricator of offshore and onshore steel Living Quarters, MCC Buildings, Control Buildings and various other steel buildings and structures for the oil and gas industry.
Position Summary Responsible for leading and supervising a team of Engineers, Designers and CAD people as they develop and design proposal and fabrication drawing for a variety of offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.
Primary
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and lead engineers, designers and CAD people who design offshore and onshore building projects.

-Direct and coordinate drafting production, engineering and designing operations and verify quality control.
-Assist with hiring, train, and mentor other engineers, designers and CAD staff.
-Write performance reviews and solve internal issues.
-Discuss and lay out project specifications.
-Make detailed plans to accomplish goals.
-Analyze project demand and available resources.
-Review, approve, or modify product designs.
-Approve department expenditures.
-Review potential employee resumes.
-Develop department cost estimates.
-Check technical accuracy of work.
-Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
-Coordinate activities of department with other departments in the organizations.
-Confer with higher levels of management.
Desired skills and
Experience:
