Job Statement:
Manages all design/construction coordination according to project plans and specifications; directs sites engineers regarding plans take:
off and layout; manages project cost associated with design changes; coordinates all project engineering requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manages the submittal process for assigned divisions.
Reviews and approves Shop Drawings:
all divisions assigned.
Supervises on:
site construction field engineering staff.
Manages and coordinate engineering consultants.
Attends and initiates meetings with the Owner ad Owners engineer.
Coordinates temporary design requirements, i.
e.
, forming systems, lifting, conveying, support of excavations.
Monitors and manages project engineering budget.
Evaluates Concrete Mix Design and ongoing monitoring of concrete performance.
Participates with the Project Manager in preparation and management of overall Project Schedule.
Maintains As:
Built drawings and documents according to specifications.
Supervises project survey and layout.
Manages engineering document control including drawing, submittal and RFI Log, etc.
Maintains quality control records and project photograph files.
Coordinates contract document and drawings distribution.
Reviews and acquires approval of all project:
level field design changes.
Coordinates scope of work for subcontractors.
Assists in work activity planning and analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years as a Field Engineer or equivalent surveying BS Engineering:
appropriate discipline or equivalent experience P.
E preferred Scheduling software, Word, Excel, supervisory skills Traveling:
assigned to project site in US.
