Company Description Job Description Applications Engineer The On-site Application Engineer's primary function is to work with the end user customer to establish sound reliability practices for covered equipment.
The AE will assist and be responsible for continuous update of the Flowstar.
net equipment management software as necessary to monitor and evaluate the status of the customer's rotating equipment.
The AE is expected to oversee the mechanical seal conversion process; including measurement, design, delivery, installation and operation.
Job Description:
Accountabilities Principal Accountabilities:
o To be fully knowledgeable about Flowserve's LifeCycle Advantage equipment management and reliability improvement program and all components.
o To be responsible for engineering/service support onsite at the Dow Freeport alliance o Be fully knowledgeable in the Flowstar.
net software in form and function.
o Lead AIT (alliance implementation Team) meetings at customer's site resulting in the development and understanding of the alliance processes and procedures of all team members.
o Takes alliance driven initiatives on projects which focus on enhancements of reliability and improved discipline in operation of rotating equipment.
o Perform alliance business analysis as directed by alliance management.
o Responsible for ensure inventory is accurately maintained and optimized.
o Become RES certified within 2 years.
Position Requirements o BSME or equivalent technical degree.
o FSG Co-Op experience a plus.
5 years of rotating equipment experience (Pumps or Mechanical Seals).
o Strong communication and organization skills.
o Microsoft Office experience.
o Experience with Flowstar.

o Good interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
o Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, & work ethics.
