Lab Technician:

Analyzing raw materials, in:
process and finished products to ensure and document that they meet customer requirements.

Developing methods for a variety of instruments.

Authoring and/or updating procedures.
:
Operating Lab instruments in a safe and professional manner.
:
Maintaining Lab equipment, ensuring adequate Lab supply inventories, conducting instrument calibrations/checks, etc.
:
Maintaining QA and Production Lab areas 5S clean, organized and safe.
:
Working with SAP QM to manage the Quality Assurance process to fulfill customers requirements.
:
Ordering Lab supplies as needed to maintain desired working inventories.
Qualifications :
BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Qualifications:
Required Skills/Experience/Education/Training :
The position requires an associate degree in a scientific discipline with, a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience.
:
16 hours of college chemistry and 6 hours of college math :
Relevant experience with the following instrumentation:
titration, UV:
VIS, GC, HPLC, LC TOC and wet analysis.
:
Ability to work with a diverse team including lab technicians, chemist, production, and logistics to ensure the best overall result for BASF :
Self:
driven with high degree of initiative and time management skills.

Must have the highest standards of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.

Must be highly organized, flexible and capable of adapting to priority changes on a regular basis.

Experience in a production environment :
