Job Overview:
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.
We have an opportunity for a PRN Tissue Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The Tissue Technician works as part of a team to provide medically suitable tissue.
In this position, you'll do this by processing, storing and distributing skin and amnion (human tissue) for medical use.
You'll ensure that our patients in the Operating Room have adequate tissue for their surgical needs by disenfecting, culturing and processing donated tissue into grafts.
Hours of this position vary, but typically are 7 a.
m.

Rate for this position is $27.
50 per hour.
Qualifications:
Education High School diploma required, Associates degree preferred Skills experience working in a Tissue Bank preferred Medical Terminology experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
