- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of housekeeping staff - Oversee all aspects of custodial and housekeeping operations - Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures - Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas - Train and coach housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met - Address guest concerns or issues related to housekeeping services - Maintain records and prepare reports on housekeeping activities
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is required - Strong knowledge of custodial and hospitality industry practices and standards - Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively - Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards - Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management Note:
Experience in managing housekeeping operations in a hotel setting is highly preferred.
