Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.
We have an opportunity for a Full-Time Supervisor, Maintenance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Supervisor acts as the point person for information on work requests from customers, and all departments in the hospital.
Initiates and procures materials and supplies needed to perform day-to-day operations.
Responsible to plan and direct work assignments and projects of assigned staff and to facilitate the completion of work orders and preventative maintenance work by maintaining stock levels and expediting delivery of materials required by staff.
Oversees, provides resources and assists, as needed, in completion of corrective maintenance work orders, preventative work orders, and maintenance repairs assigned to the engineers to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Education Trade school training / apprenticeship highly preferred Certification/Licensure Trade license in related field must be in good standing with issuing state.
Four (4) years in the maintenance-engineering field, with understanding and knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, steam, refrigeration, H.

, Medical Gas systems, emergency generator and related equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Knoweldge Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of facilities engineering principles and requirements; must demonstrate an ability to prioritize work in a changing environment; must be able to demonstrate sound problem solving skills and use of resources especially in emergency situations.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required; must demonstrate the ability to foster teamwork, positive work environments in collaboration across the organization.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
