Analyzer Technician Job - (freeport, texas)

Analyzer Technician:
1403784 Description Responsible for Analyzer duties as assigned.
Duties include the installation and/or repair of analyzer and instrumentation at the Freeport Site.
Responsibilities:

Documents all appropriate Process Analyzer activities.
3.
Interacts with Plant Operations to ensure that the plants analytical needs are met.
5.
Works in a team with other analyzer technicians to perform routine, extraordinary, and turnaround activities.
7.
Track and update assigned tasks in maintenance management system on a regular basis.
8.
Will be required to be available for maintenance on:
call.
Qualifications :
BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Knowledge and
Experience:
A.
S.
Degree in Electronics, Electricity or Instrumentation or a high school education and equivalent experience (minimum three years of craft experience).
Experienced in the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of online process analyzers.
Good working knowledge of chemical plant equipment and technologies.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good personal computer skills and knowledge.
Demonstrated math, reading and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
