Must pass typing test at a net rate of 20 wpm.

Must be a licensed Texas Telecommunicator or achieve such licensure within one year of employment by passing an extensive character and background investigation and the successful completion of the 40 hour Basic Telecommunicator Course (1013) and the Crisis Communications Course (2120) as mandated by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (Texas Administrative Code Rule 217.

Must pass a typing test at a net rate of no less than 20 wpm.

Analyze situations quickly, accurately taking effective action.
Preferred Skill/Competency Cleared to work security sensitive environment.
Pass polygraph and background checks.
Type accurately at 20 words per minute.
Successfully pass drug testing and psychological testing.
Closing Statement Once you have passed the required testing, please submit your application.

Score must be at least 30 words per minute.
