Regular Min Qualifications Associates degree and ARRTR registered with one year of procedural area experience and Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Department of Health.
Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Summary:
Salary Range The salary range for this position is from 48,640 to 72,960 annually, commensurate with experience.
This position is a pay Band Code PC14.
Specific Job Related Duties ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in operating equipment including in trouble shooting Collects, reports and documents data.
Takes vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, heart rate, pulse oximetry, and collects specimens.
Demonstrates ability to perform different aspects of responsibilities within the department such as circulator, monitor, scrub and holding area personnel assistant.
Competently and consistently completes accurate, concise documentation of the procedure event including monitoring of moderate sedation per policy.
Assists with the admission, transfer, and discharge of the patient.

Collects, reports, and documents data related to patient needs/emergencies and unusual patient and family behavior.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to patient data and hemodynamic responses during pre, intra and post Cath and EP procedures.
Functions as a member of the on call team and responds to the emergency call according to the departmental policy Maintains professionalism and communicates effectively in high stress situations Prioritizes patient and departmental needs.
Ability to work long and unpredictable hours Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
Completes required Orientation/Competency Based Orientation (CBO) tools by the initial performance evaluation due date for placement in employee file.
Competent ins assisting routine Cardiac Cath and EP procedures/skills Performs and reports point of care testing (POCT).
Performs and records daily system quality control according to departmental policy Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
Practices basic cost containment for patients and the unit.
Respects and supports patient rights.
Attends/participates in unit meetings/activities and supports the philosophy and goals of the unit department and organ Source:
