Job Description:
Automation is defined in three parts:
Part 1:
Business Process Optimization.
Part 2:
Process Control.
Part 3:
Interfacing with Information Services to fully integrate Business Process Optimization and Process Control.
-Lead the automation team to develop and implement the sites automation strategy (parts 1, 2 and 3).
?Understand key stakeholder automation needs and expectations and incorporate into site automation strategy.
?Develop business model and five year XA capital plan as it relates to automation.
?Develop, track and communicate KPIs for achievement of site automation strategy.
?Benchmark automation capabilities internally and externally against peer groups.
- Liaison between Information Services and site to influence the Information Services strategy to support the sites automation strategy.
?Understand Information Services strategy and the reasons behind the strategy.
?Communicate Information Services strategy to stakeholders at the Site.
?Assess and maintain IS capability documentation ?Develop and maintain strategies and IT master planning for sites ?Include field and other state of the art information input devices (i.
e.
handhelds, scanners, wireless, etc.
) -Lead communication efforts for site automation strategy.
?Communicating success stories ?Communicate at site communication meetings ?Coordinate sharing of best practices across the site(s) and globally.
?Capture and communicate the business case.

Qualifications:
BS degree and 10
years experience in Automation or another integrated business platform (SAP) in a manufacturing environment is required.
Degree may be substituted by a minimum of 15 years of equivalent experience in the field of automation or another integrated business platform.
