Job Description:
Salary Range 64,000 to 96,000 Specific Job Related Duties :
Monitor enrollment goals and modify recruitment strategies, as necessary :
Organize and facilitate assisting PI in obtaining the Informed Consent process from study participant and documents appropriately :
Complete an initial patient assessment utilizing interview, observation, and examination; directs and assists others in the nursing process :
Perform expert physical, pathophysiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, learning needs, and/or age:
appropriate nursing assessment of participants :
Obtain Vital Signs and perform phlebotomy; teach proper procedures; monitor participants labs and notify the PI of laboratory findings :
Perform Stable Isotope Infusion Studies on assigned patients :
Intervene and recommend patient needs and/or changes as appropriate to the PI and other health professionals :
Intervene and recommend patient needs and/or changes as appropriate to the PI and other health professionals :
Conduct reviews of on:
going studies; responsible for internal and external quality assurance; ensure the development of an ongoing productive relationship with the study monitor :
Develop relationships with internal and external data sources :
Conduct in:
service to floor nurses/physicians and direct and assist others in the nursing process :
Assist PI in budget development; may monitor ledgers; maintain supply inventory and equipment :
May attend and participate in the Investigator meeting, pre:
site and site initiation visits :
Review goals and requirements of any new protocols; plans and designs source documentation for protocol; adhere to protocols :
Assist with preparation of all IRB and Regulatory Documents; under direction of PI may draft various communications with Sponsor, and participate in the revision, development and implementation of documents tools Source:
