Technologist Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) required.

Job Description:
Salary Range The salary range for this position is from 44,160 to 66,240 annually, commensurate with experience.
This position is a pay Band Code PC13.
Specific Job Related Duties This medical technologist position will rotate through all areas in the blood bank laboratory including component preparation, donor processing, and transfusion services.
Work Schedule Preferred Skill/Competency The technologist must be able to perform and report a variety of moderate to high complexity laboratory procedures accurately without immediate direct supervision.
The employee must be able to work independently and evaluate and prioritize workload based on laboratory needs.
Careful attention to details in record keeping and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Flexibility in responsibilities and schedules as well as outstanding teamwork will be necessary to meet the changing needs of this dynamic laboratory area.
