Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager will work closely with Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor and various other internal groups in the system to successfully implement assigned projects. Job Responsibility:
Managing project development and execution through all phases of the project process (Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation, and Startup/Closeout) Perform time and cost management of the project including setting budgets, schedules, managing project cost change control and variance reporting Management of projects, completing them on time, on budget and within scope Optimizing and aligning project resources in each project Demonstrate an understanding of the numerous department stakeholders' expectations and expert contributions and how they can contribute to the project success Follow all aspects of the Companies Project Management Process with specific emphasis on:
Key stakeholder expectations, communication plans, risk management plans, change control and escalation plans, resource plans, procurement plans that include contract development, schedules and budgets,
etc., preparation of formal reports, leading program area business reviews to focus team achievement on business objectives Qualification /
Experience:
4 year engineering degree 15 years Project Management experience in a refinery or manufacturing company PE, or eligible for Professional Engineering Licensure is preferred, and PMP or equivalent is preferred Outstanding communication (Written and Verbal) and interpersonal skills Self starter that can work to develop a team environment Ability to quickly understand new processes and related issues Good relationship building skills both internally and externally Comfortable and skilled in influencing others at various levels in the organization Excellent computer skills - experience with MS Office tools Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills Understanding of project management methodologies of PMI and CII NEED TO BE A US CITIZEN OR A GREEN CARD HOLDER Click here to apply.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
